Used to
“used to” means that something often happened in the past but does not happen now.
Some examples:
- We used to live in New Zealand .
- I used to play the piano.
- Jack used to like coffee, but now he drinks tea.
Some example questions:
- Did you used to live in New Zealand?
- Did he used to play the piano?
- Did your boss used to give you flowers?
There is no present form of “used to” as it only relate to the past.
