Today’s review is an absolutely new Italian course called Rocket Italian.

What do I get in this system? (It has various ‘components’)

  • 31 interactive audio lessons (25 minutes each, 14 hours total)
  • 31 illustrated grammar lessons (follows the Audio Course)
  • “MegaVocab” Rocket Italian Word Building Game
  • “MegaAudio” language software game
  • “MegaVerbs” Grammar Software Game
  • Your own Italian teacher, “on call” 24 hours a day through a forum.

My impressions:

This is the latest product by Rocket languages.

As you have heard from the above audio file, it is performed by a native English speaker and a native Italian speaker.

Like all other Rocket products, this program is very thorough. In comparison to some of the other Audio and program methods (pimsleur method, Rosetta Stone) this is a very new and refreshing system. The addition of computer software is useful for free time at home, the audio portion is great for on the road learning. There is a member forum included in the purchase where you can get support from your teachers or other like minded students.
