The Most Common Usage of Then and Than.

  • Than: a comparison
  • Then: a description of time


Some examples:

Then

  • I want to go to a restaurant then to the party.
  • Then, after dinner, she went home.

Than

  • He is a better singer than me.
  • Tea is much nicer than coffee
